An Illinois, Family-Owned Company always an Illinois manufacturer, Nationwide Glove Company Inc. and its affiliates and predecessors, were founded by the late Harry Applebaum, a young Polish Jewish immigrant, in Chicago in 1917. Harry would awaken very early, cut the day's leather and additional materials for the sewers and other workers in a rented loft, and then deliver milk for the local dairy, with a horse-drawn wagon, on the North Side of the city. Mitchell is a Traceability Software Specialist at Hella Electronics full time and Brittany is the Administrative Assistant at First Christian Church in Flora. The business of selling furniture and decor all started around Christmas 2015 when Mitchell made Brittany an entry table out of pallets. Family and friends started asking if they could make them one as well. After the popularity of this piece of furniture, the idea of making and selling furniture was born. The business has grown rapidly since, with multiple pieces and multiple orders.
