IMEC is proud to recognize Stacey Curry Lee, Technical Specialist in Workforce Development, who recently achieved the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC) reinstatement.
ICF is a globally recognized thought leadership institute that offers the gold standard in coaching credentialing and legitimacy to professional coaching practices. ICF Coaching Core Competency Model remains critically important to the practice of coaching that includes an emphasis on ethical behavior and the importance of a coaching mindset and ongoing reflective practices. To earn ACC credentials, one must demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in ICF’s Core Competencies, Code of Ethics, and effective practices in coaching. ACC recipients show a commitment to high ethical standards and have demonstrated, through rigorous assessment, professional competence in their work with clients.
To earn this certification, Stacey completed 60+ hours of coaching-specific training and 100+ hours of client-coaching experience, received 10 hours of mentor coaching, submitted a live, recorded coaching performance review and transcription for professional evaluation, and passed a 3 hour/155 question exam.
Organizations with strong coaching cultures report higher employee engagement and retention. Integrating professional coaching as part of individual and team leadership development helps to drive meaningful and purposeful change and aims to inspire and enable continuous growth by providing robust standards to further develop coaching capacity and capabilities as a mindset, skill set, and ultimately weaving coaching practices into the organizational culture.
Big Kudos to Stacey on this great achievement and providing another valuable tool to help Illinois manufacturers to transform their approach to leadership development.
