Alyssa Kahle, CPA-turned-designer and Owner of Alyssa Kristin, became inspired to create her label after her own wedding gown shopping experience. Alyssa searched high and low (easily trying on over 150 gowns) and became frustrated with the lack of tasteful gowns that suited her personality; everything was too encrusted and over-the-top or too plain Jane. Alyssa, a CPA working in public accounting, decided to take a risk – she found a less demanding job and made her own dress. Through the experience, Alyssa found her calling and created Alyssa Kristin to help brides escape the ‘fluff and frill’ and find a gown that makes them feel beautiful and, more importantly, like themselves.
