Since its beginnings in 1995, Busy Beaver Button Company has gone from a one-woman operation in Christen Carter’s college apartment to a company with fifteen employees. Over the last 17 years, the Busy Beaver crew has overseen over 60,000 designs and produced millions of custom buttons for clients like Brooklyn Brewery, NBC Entertainment, The Art Institute of Chicago, Threadless, and WordPress as well as thousands of bands, non-profits, and small businesses.
Creativity
From concept to distribution, the Beavers are creative and effective. They're goal is to help you communicate your ideas through custom buttons. Metallic buttons, wood buttons, 1-inch square and 24-karat gold buttons; these innovations in button making all evolved from a customer’s request.
Green Manufacturing
Every custom button is made with solar power from recycled steel in our geothermal heated/cooled headquarters in Chicago.
Pin-back Preservation
Busy Beaver celebrated its 15th anniversary with a gift to button-lovers everywhere: the world’s only button museum! Located within the company headquarters, The Busy Beaver Button Museum displays 9,000 historical buttons and is open to the public.
