Continuous Improvement Specialist Brings Knowledge and Enthusiasm to IMEC Clients

Megan Falconer

Welcome the newest member of the IMEC team, CI specialist serving the Greater Chicagoland area...

Megan Falconer, a Technical Specialist with the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center, has four years of manufacturing experience as a Product Engineer, Materials Coordinator, Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Process Engineer in both the steel and plastics industries.  APICS certified, Megan has also completed course work and training in Six Sigma Green Belt and lean tools and methodologies.

Through her experience as a Continuous Improvement Specialist, Megan has worked with companies to help them initiate and progress through their lean journey by implementing standard work, standard process controls, 5S, visual workplace management, lean training including 5S training and events, cell design/layout and total productive maintenance. She has also worked with cross functional teams to implement quality systems and support an overall transformation of the entire organization.

Megan holds a BS in Industrial Engineering with a specialty in Manufacturing from The Pennsylvania State University.
