John has led cross-functional teams as part of organization-wide lean transformations, incorporating many of the lean tools in his skill set, including 5S, Pull Systems, Kanban, Work Cells, Set-Up Reduction, Cycle Time Improvement, Preventive Maintenance, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and Problem Solving. As a result of one engagement, John identified and drove operational improvements through the application of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies resulting in process improvements of $70,000, operating expense reductions of $200,000, and annual cycle time reductions of 18,000 hours.
In addition to lean and operational continuous improvement, John has both Lean and Six Sigma teaching experience, along with experience coaching and mentoring Yellow and Green Belts. He holds a BA degree from the University of Saint Francis and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
