MOST REWARDING PROJECT?
One project that comes to mind is the implementation of a daily management and standard work system at an electronics company. It resulted in complete lean transformation going from a few meaningful metrics, from batch to I-pc flow, and from centralized inventory to point-of-use inventory.
MOST CHALLENGING PROJECT THAT RESULTED IN POSITIVE IMPACTS?
Success doesn’t come without its challenges. The most rewarding project with the electronics company is also one of the most challenging because the team was cautious and unsure of their abilities to dramatically change in a short period of time. But, in the end we were able to overcome the roadblocks.
INTERESTING NEW INDUSTRY TREND THAT DRIVES GROWTH THROUGH ENTERPRISE EXCELLENCE?
I am interested virtual reality with regard to standard work in assembly and material handling.

A couple of hot topics I notice are virtual reality and the challenges of fulfilling staffing needs in heavy manufacturing.
