Image_1 2019-01-23_00-03-52As the country celebrates MFG Day 2019, and Illinois celebrates Manufacturing Month, it would be remiss of us to ignore this opportunity to acknowledge the impact of IMEC and the MEP National Network on our state and the country as a whole.  Being a part of the Network, IMEC has access to a plethora of local and national resources designed to strengthen an organization’s competitiveness and position them on a path to excellence. As a result of leveraging partnerships and our team’s expertise, IMEC has been able to make a significant impact on clients and the economy as a whole. In 2018 alone, we assisted 763 Illinois companies, created 6,793 jobs, and contributed aggregate impact to the state’s economy was $620,444,392.

On a larger scale, the MEP Network has mas made immense contributions to U.S. manufacturing.  Since its inception in 1988, the network has helped 102, 443 manufacturers, generated 127.3 billion in sales, and created 1,107,346 jobs across the country.

“The impact of manufacturing on America can be seen in the good jobs it provides, the strength of the economy, and the products built in communities around the nation that enable and enrich our everyday lives. We celebrate manufacturing's impact and the MEP Centers across the country working alongside small and medium-sized manufacturers to make an impact on their people and operations.” NIST MEP

IMEC and all the MEP centers are constantly working to continue helping manufacturers improve their current state and strive for performance excellence. Contact your local MEP Center to take advantage of resources that will take your company to new heights.
