Calling all South Suburban Cook County manufacturers with an eye on global sales!

Are you struggling to take advantage of growth opportunities in global markets?

Are you re-actively selling to international customers who find you, rather than taking a proactive and strategic approach to international sales?

If YES… ExporTech could be the answer.

What is ExporTech?Exportech

ExporTech is offered nationwide by the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership program and the U.S. Export Assistance Centers of the U.S. Department of Commerce. ExporTech is a structured export strategy and business development process that assists companies to accelerate growth. Throughout the cohort, group workshops are combined with individual coaching, ultimately producing an export plan in just 9 weeks. The peer group model is limited to leaders from 4-8 companies to maximize impact and propel actions for implementation, alongside a team of partners who make it easier to go-to-market and execute the plan.

Why should I participate?

ExporTech is the ONLY national program that helps each company develop an export plan. Each three-day session efficiently connects companies with local and national experts to help navigate the export sales process. On average, participating companies generate $770K in new export sales.

ExporTech saves participants countless hours of work and eliminates fear of the unknown about getting paid, protecting intellectual property, finding sales representatives and more.

When is the ExporTech cohort?

The 2018 cohort dates are March 13, April 17 and May 22.

What is the cost of the program?

Thanks to the support of Cook County for South Suburban manufacturers, the cost to participate is only $750 per qualifying company - typically $5000 per company!  The program fee covers the participation of up to 3 executives and the output of the company's export plan.
