IMEC_WorkshopAre you a business leader looking to build a strong foundation for long-term growth? Would you like to reduce lead time in your day-to-day operations?

The certification program for QRM practitioners, professional managers or external consultants will be offered January 27-28, February 25, and March 24.

What is Quick Response Manufacturing?

Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) is a company-wide strategy to reduce lead times across your enterprise and speed production of low-volume, high-mix or custom-engineered products. QRM is commonly used to:

  • Increase market share
  • Improve on-time delivery
  • Slash manufacturing lead times
  • Produce higher-quality parts
  • Eliminate non-value added work
  • Improve through-put

You’ll learn how QRM helps you:

  • Slash lead times in manufacturing and office operations by 80% or more
  • Rapidly introduce new products
  • Cut manufacturing costs
  • Reduce overhead
  • Manufacture higher-quality products
  • Increase market share

Overview of Session Two – February 25

  • Focused Target Market Segment (FTMS)
  • Quick Response Office Cells (Q-ROC)

The typical barriers to implementation will be discussed along with change management concepts to help overcome them. It is highly recommended but not required to attend the 2-day Elements of QRM workshop prior to this workshop. There will be time reserved for questions specific to attendee’s operations.

The Certificate of CompletionLevel One: QRM Knowledge will be awarded to candidates who demonstrate a thorough understanding of the concepts of Quick Response Manufacturing and its application.

It is expected that holders of this certificate will be able to effectively communicate the elements of Quick Response Manufacturing and participate in its implementation to meet enterprise goals.

The Level One certificate requires 1) 32 hours of approved QRM training and read Dr. Suri’s books on QRM, 2) participate in one QRM project, and 3) pass a 3-hour open book examination on QRM.
