The Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) has partnered with the departments of Transportation, Energy, and Defense as well as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to focus on finding business opportunities for small manufacturers by matching their capabilities with the supply chain needs of America's original equipment manufacturers. In addition, IMEC has taken a local initiative to help companies in Illinois source their products through local suppliers.
Keson Industries is currently seeking a manufacturer who can manufacture the following item:
5/16 or 8 mm Bent Rod Which Holds a Mechanical Counter on a Measuring Wheel
- Threaded on both ends (roll threads preferred) 3/4" deep
- 16 ga. stamped steel plate attached to wire
- The sheet metal attaches to the platform via a spot weld or stake operation
- The item (except the threads) should be powdercoated to Pantone 1505
- Item size: 4"x 5"x 3'
- Likely manufacturing processes: CNC wire bending, stamping, powder coating, threading
